Dr. Cailin Brown is an Associate Professor at The College of Saint Rose.
Dr. Brown holds a B.A. from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, and an M.A. and a Ph.D. from the State University of New York at Albany.
Brown’s research interests include citizen journalism, student produced journalism and media ethics. She coordinates student coverage of the college neighborhood for The Pine Hills blog at timesunion.com, and advises the weekly student newspaper, The Chronicle.
Brown worked as a reporter at The Record in Troy, at the Capital District Business Review in Albany, and at the Times Union in Albany.
